Averian, a leader in advanced AI platforms for production environments, today announced its participation in the launch of the Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab in Drummondville, Quebec.
Developed through a collaboration between CENGN (Canada’s Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks), CNIMI (Centre National Intégré du Manufacturier Intelligent), and Ericsson, the Living Lab provides a real-world environment for validating next-generation manufacturing technologies. The initiative is supported by a $45 million investment from the Government of Canada to accelerate innovation and commercialization across key sectors.

Averian was selected as the inaugural Canadian company to demonstrate advanced manufacturing capabilities within the Living Lab. At the launch event, Averian showcased its AI Validator platform, designed for precision defect detection and automated quality assurance in production environments.
As part of the event, Averian CEO Taimoor Nawab delivered remarks alongside government officials and industry leaders, highlighting the role of applied AI in improving manufacturing quality, efficiency, and scalability.

"Our participation in the CENGN Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab provides an opportunity to demonstrate AI Validator in a high-stakes, real-world manufacturing setting,” said Taimoor Nawab, Chief Executive Officer of Averian. “By showcasing this technology in a live environment, we can help manufacturers better understand how AI-driven inspection can reduce errors, improve consistency, and increase operational efficiency.”
The Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab enables Canadian startups and scaleups to test and validate solutions in a fully operational factory environment, accelerating readiness for commercial deployment and global adoption

Averian’s AI Validator platform is designed to support inspection across a wide range of manufacturing use cases, enabling organizations to deploy AI-driven quality assurance systems quickly and scale them across production lines and facilities.
